Flight Planning Information

• AirNav -- The site provides an easily searchable database of all airports and navaids in the US. Also has links to approach plates and user comments about FBO's and other airport businesses. Their coverage of airport businesses is not as good as AOPA's, but no membership is required.

• AeroPlanner -- Free premium membership to EAA and NAFI members.
• The $100 Hamburger -- This site (and the book with the same name) started out as a guide to fly-in eateries. It has now expanded to other fly-in interests, such as camping facilities, golf courses, etc. One of the most important tools in flight planning. After all, how can one decide on where to land without knowing what's for lunch?
